Online Registration is now closed. Registrations will be accepted at the conference on Monday 17th June from 8:00am at the Novotel St Kilda.

Registration Packages


The opportunity is available for delegate to choose to attend one or both conferences. The breakdown for each day of the conference is,

Day 1: Taking Care of Business: Sustainable Transformation Conference. Includes concurrent streams and workshops addressing sustainable issues.

Day 2: Six keynote presentations of mutual interest to both conferences and two open forums.

Day 3: 6th Making Cities Liveable Conference. Includes concurrent streams and workshops addressing healthy cities issues.

  • Conference sessions for nominated day

  • The Welcome Reception is not included. Tickets can be purchased on the registration form.

Early Bird Registration
An Early Bird rate is being offered to those who register and pay prior to Monday 29th April 2013. To be eligible for the Early Bird rate payment must be received by the Monday 29th April 2013. After this date all new and outstanding registrations will be transferred to the standard rate.

Group Discount Registration
A 10% group discount is being offered to organisations that register 4 or more employees from the same organisation. A group invoice will be issued and cannot be split. 10% discount is only offered off the Full Package. No further discount can be offered on the speaker, concession, Two day or One day registration fees. Contact the Conference Secretariat on 61 7 5502 2068 to arrange your organisation group booking.

Concession Registration
Concession registration is available for full time students and unwaged persons. A $100 discount will be applied to the full registration only (Full package, Sustainability package and Liveable Cities package) not including the presenter rate. If applicable please email the conference secretariat for details on how to receive this concession.

Conditions: Please note that it is essential for all participants including invited speakers, delegates and presenters to register. 

Welcome Reception - The Welcome Reception is included in Full Registrations only. .

Early Bird Registration - 'Early' discount is available for registrations.  

Payments - Once registration is received a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued. All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the conference start date, whichever comes first. The organisers reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts anytime after 30 days from date of tax invoice being sent.

All registrations received after 3rd June 2013 must be paid in full by credit card only. If payment is not received prior to the conference, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card or cash.

Refunds and Cancellations - The conference committee understands that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the event you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before Tuesday 7th May 2013. Registration cancellation received between Wednesday 8th May 2013 and Monday 20th May 2013 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees. No refunds will be issued after Tuesday 21st May 2013. Non payment does not constitute cancellation.

Accommodation - All accommodation bookings will be subject to the individual hotel cancellation policy. Please contact the conference secretariat for the hotel cancellation policy.

Insurance - It is the responsibility of delegate's to arrange their own travel insurance. The conference does not endorse or have any arrangements with any companies. The following links are provided for information only.

Disclaimer - The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. "The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause."
