Section 7 - Registration Terms and Conditions

You will be sent a tax invoice by email. Please ensure your system can receive email from AST management. The email will contain payment method details. If you do not receive any correspondence, email the secretariat .
Conditions - Please note that it is essential for all participants including invited speakers, delegates and presenters to register. Welcome Reception - The Welcome Reception is included in Full Registrations only. Additional tickets can be purchased for $70.00. Early Bird Registration - 'Early' discount is available for registrations received and paid prior to 5pm on the 30th April 2012. Registrations not paid by the 30th April will be re-invoiced at the standard rate. Payments - Payment is required to confirm registration. Delegates with outstanding registration fees at the conference will be required to provide a credit card guarantee. If payment is not received 14 days after the event, the credit card will be charged. All delegates who register online will be sent a tax invoice within 8 working hours. Refunds and Cancellations - Registration cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing either by mail; fax or email to Conference Secretariat. A full refund will be made to all cancellations minus a $125 Cancellation fee prior the 30th April 2012. After this date a 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received in writing prior to 5pm on 6th May 2012. From the 6th May 2012 there will be no refunds made, substitute delegates will be accepted at the cost of an amendment fee. All amendments will incur a $20.00 additional fee. Disclaimer - The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
